Sea Trail - Maples211 Clubhouse Road, Sunset Beach, NC, 28468
The Maples Course at Sea Trail has recently earned an overall rating of 6.8 from reviewers at the Myrtle Beach Golf Insider, garnering praise for course condition, customer service, and course layout.
Maples is one of the most creative architects in the Myrtle Beach golf scene, and some of his best work appears on his namesake course at Sea Trail Resort. This course has been recognized by Golf Digest as among the “Top 100 Courses in Myrtle Beach” 2004-2009 and has earned a 4-star rating in its “Places to Play” guide. The Maples Course has five holes that play along Calabash Creek, bringing great natural beauty to an exceptional design. The shortest par 5 on the course is 545 yards, which challenges the longest hitters but brings a hard-earned sense of gratification to a par.
The signature hole is No. 12 – a par 5 measuring 550 yards featuring a waterway that runs along the left and out of bounds along the right. Keep your tee shot in play off the tee and avoid the fairway bunker with your second shot. Your approach is with a short iron to a small, tiered green.
